The Roccat Pyro is a mechanical keyboard introduced in May 2020, together with the membrane keyboard Roccat Magma.
Mechanical Keyboard for under $100
Roccat claims that the “Pyro is one of the most feature-packed mechanical gaming keyboards for under $100”. Is it true? It comes with a robust brushed aluminum top plate, it features a convenient volume wheel and it supports RGB lighting via Roccat’s AIMO system. Moreover, it is packed with a detachable wrist rest. Overall, that’s not a bad deal for a mechanical keyboard for under $100.
The keyboard features linear (red) switches from TTC, which are often found in budget keyboards. The Pyro is promoted with “advanced anti-ghosting technology”. Roccat doesn’t really specify, what it means in detail. But since the company has lots of long-term experience with gaming keyboards, it should be safe to assume, that ghosting won’t be an issue with the Pyro.

"The Roccat Pyro delivers a solid gaming experience and looks cool on the desk, but rattly stabilizers, poor keycaps, outdated software and minimal macro support leave much to be desired."

"The Roccat Pyro represents incredible value for money. Thanks to its decent linear switches, sturdy build, and sharp lighting, this is one of the best gaming keyboards I’ve tested in a while. However, for the more seasoned gamers willing to spend more, the higher-end products from Razer and Steelseries may just suit a smidgen better."

"The Roccat Pyro RGB gaming keyboard impresses immediately with its sleek metal finish and ultra-responsive keys. The customizable RGB is handled perfectly, contrasting nicely against the all-black design of the keyboard. All this, plus extra features like a volume slider and togglable Game Mode make for a fantastic RGB keyboard all around with just a couple of minor drawbacks."
