The Cherry MX Board 1.0 was released in Germany in November 2018. The naming might cause some confusion, as the Cherry MX Board 1.0 follows the MX Board 3.0 and MX Board 6.0. At release date the keyboard is not available worldwide and is only sold in some selected markets.
Mechanical Keyboard for Typists
With the MX Board 1.0 Cherry seems to target people who are writing a lot with their keyboard and are looking for a mechanical keyboard for their work. Its simplistic design is good for everyday work.
Beneath a fast recognition of keypresses, the manufacturer promises reliable Anti-Ghosting thanks to Full-Key-Rollover. The height of the keyboard can be adjusted to three different levels. The included palm rest and the white background illumination should make long working sessions more comfortable.
The keyboard is available with Cherry MX Silent Red Switches and Cherry MX Brown Switches.

"If you're wanting a keyboard from a manufacturer with a reputation as long as your arm, the MX Board 1.0 ticks all the right boxes. It has some brilliant keyswitches and offers a sturdy build, too. What's more, you can pick it up for a reasonable price."

"Overall the Cherry MX Board 1.0 is a definite yes from me, it can handle medium gaming sessions, its so good to write with and it’s not a massive hit to the wallet for a pure cherry keyboard."
