K70 CORE TKL

Corsair K70 Core TKL

Corsair’s mechanical keyboards are typically positioned in the premium price segment. High-end models like the K70 Max and the K100 Air exceed the 200-dollar mark, while many other keyboards from the brand fall within the 100 to 200-dollar range. To cater to customers with a slightly tighter budget, Corsair introduced the Core series. The full-size K70 Core keyboard is widely available at most retailers for just under 100 dollar. In October 2024, the series was expanded with two additional models: the K70 Core TKL and the K70 Core TKL Wireless.

Corsair K70 Core TKL – Small keyboard at a small price?

The Corsair K70 Core TKL is a mechanical keyboard with tenkeyless size factor, i.e. the keyboard has no numpad, but is slightly narrower. It is a gaming keyboard with Corsair’s own MLX Red (V2) switches, a polling rate of 1000 Hz, RGB lighting and complete ghosting protection. There is also a stylish volume control and a detachable USB cable. The retail price at the time of launch is around 100 dollar, making the keyboard clearly cheaper than most other Corsair models, but of course still more expensive than many no-name mechanical keyboards.

Corsair K70 Core TKL Wireless

The Corsair K70 Core TKL Wireless is the wireless version of the keyboard – it comes with an integrated battery and can communicate via 2.4 GHz wireless or Bluetooth. A wrist rest made of synthetic leather with a magnetic mechanism is also included. Otherwise, the keyboard is identical to the K70 Core TKL. Of course, the extra features are reflected in the price – the K70 Core TKL Wireless costs around 150 dollar at the time of release.
