Corsair K70 RGB MK2

Corsair K70 RGB MK.2

The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 is the successor of the K70 RGB and is available since June 2018.

Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with many Extras

The keyboard comes with quite a price tag, but also has a lot of features to offer. The RGB illumination creates an atmospheric gaming experience and makes late night working easier. Various lighting effects are available, and the illumination can be adjusted for each key individually.

The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 is equipped well for gaming: N-key rollover makes sure that all inputs are recognized correctly, the windows key lock enables gaming without disturbance and macros can be put on any arbitrary key. For maximal convenience, there are dedicated media keys including a volume scroller and an USB-passthrough to connect another device directly via the keyboard. The packages of the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 includes a detachable wrist rest and a set of extra textured keycaps for the typical gaming keys of shooter and MOBA games.

Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Switches

Besides the new design and updated media keys and placements, the bigger selection of possible switches is one of the most important improvements of the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 to its predecessor. You now have the choice between Cherry MX Red, MX Brown, MX Blue, MX Speed and MX Silent Red. If you enjoy unusual design, you further can take a look at the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 SE. This is a special edition of the keyboard with silver anodized aluminum frame and white keycaps. The rest of its features is identical to the ones of the normal K70 RGB MK.2.

"Obwohl die Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile Rapidfire ein rundum solides und größtenteils gut verarbeitetes Gesamtpaket bietet, rechtfertigen selbst die exklusiven Low-Profile-Taster nicht den hohen Preis von 190 Euro. Wer mit dem Gedanken spielt, sich diese Tastatur wegen des flachen Designs zulegen zu wollen, sollte sie vor dem Kauf auf jeden Fall erst ausprobieren."

  1. Mine has ALWAYS had staticky Cherry MX Blue switches, especially the “s” key from day one and now several others are doing it. one press and you get two or three letters on the screen. Maybe I got one that was built on a Friday or something, but I ditched it for a Razer Huntsman Elite.
