The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile is a mechanical gaming keyboard with Cherry MX Low Profile switches and was introduced in October 2018. It’s the first time Corsair uses these switches in a gaming keyboard.
The slimmest mechanical gaming keyboard from Corsair
Low profile switches are particularly small switches with a short distance to actuate. The Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile is available with Cherry MX Low Profile Speed switches or Cherry MX Low Profile Red switches. The Low Profile Red switches actuate at 1.2 mm distance, the Low Profile Speed switches actuate at 1.0 mm. As the low-profile switches allow making a keyboard more compact, the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile is the slimmest mechanical gaming keyboard made from Corsair so far. Its height is only 29 mm.
All Features of the K70 RGB MK.2
Buyers of the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile can look forward to enjoying all the pleasantness of the K70 RGB MK.2. Also, the detachable palm rest and additional textured keycaps for FPS and MOBA games are included.

"Unless you were absolutely tied to the idea of low-profile keys, we'd probably opt for the big boy K70 over this. It's a fine keyboard with some smart features, but there's a lot not to like – and much of that is the fault of its switches."

"The latest Corsair keyboard has fast, comfortable keys and plenty of features – but it isn't the only option for rapid-fire gaming"

"Our Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile RAPIDFIRE review illustrates that this keyboard is deeply impressive – and that it doesn’t lose out on much because its keys are shorter than conventional buttons."

"Taking an already-successful design and continuing to use already-great software, Corsair would have had to try pretty hard to make this a poor product. Thankfully, the swap to the new exclusive switches is a success and simply adds another choice for gamers looking to get their hands on one of the best keyboards available."

"Corsair's K70 Low Profile recreates a scissor switch's ergonomics with a new, slimmer Cherry MX mechanical switch. The new switch will be great for laptops, but it's pretty damn nice on desktops as well."
November 28, 2018
"Even though the Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile is leaner than ever, it still manages to pack the same weighty performance punch that the previous gen did."

"The low profile version of the Corsair K70 MK.2 might not be for everyone but more choice for consumers is always welcomed and although expensive this keyboard is one that we think is worth buying! "

"As an alternative K70 MK.2 the Low Profile is a great keyboard, but just doesn't feel as premium as its sibling."

"Obwohl die Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile Rapidfire ein rundum solides und größtenteils gut verarbeitetes Gesamtpaket bietet, rechtfertigen selbst die exklusiven Low-Profile-Taster nicht den hohen Preis von 190 Euro."
