The Logitech G Pro X is a mechanical keyboard with hot-swappable switches. It was introduced in October 2019 and it is exclusively sold at the official Logitech G Store.
Logitech G Pro vs G Pro X Keyboard
The Logitech G Pro X is almost identical to the Logitech G Pro. It is a tenkeyless keyboard with detachable cable, RGB lighting, gaming mode and anti-ghosting. The difference between Logitech G Pro and Pro X is that only the Pro X offers swappable switches. To make use of this feature, you also need to buy a Pro X Switch Kit. One such kit costs about 50 USD and contains 92 switches of one type. There are Logitech GX Blue, GX Brown and GX Red switches available. If you want to mix up all three switch types, it obviously gets kind of expensive for a tenkeyless keyboard. Since the bottom row is of non-standard size, it further might not be that easy to find other compatible switches. So, if you like to tinker around with your keyboard, but not too much, then the Logitech G Pro X might be a great fit. For the big majority though, the “common” Logitech G Pro is due to its cheaper price probably the better choice.
