Logitech K845 is a mechanical keyboard for work. It was introduced in October 2020 and it is only available in a few regions (including North America and parts of Asia).
Choose your Favorite Switch
The range of available switch options for the Logitech K845 is surprisingly big. You can choose between TTC Blue, TTC Brown, TTC Red, Cherry MX Blue and Cherry MX Red. With Cherry MX switches, the keyboard is a bit more expensive (it costs about 20 USD more) than with switches from TTC. The design of the keyboard is based on its older brother K840. A new feature of the K845 is its white background illumination. It supports five different illumination modes, like for example random lighting patterns or reactive illumination, but in most cases the normal static lighting will probably be the best for the use in a work environment.
Inexpensive Backlit Mechanical Keyboard
Comparing the price of the keyboard with some of the membrane keyboards from Logitech, the difference is really not that big. And thanks to its mechanical switches, the K845 probably lasts longer. So if you are looking for an inexpensive backlit mechanical keyboard for work, you can definitely check out the K845. It fits this description well and gives you several switch options to choose from.
