Metadot is the company behind the brand Das Keyboard. They started 2005 with a keyboard without letters on the keys. It was specifically designed for nerds and geeks, you could promote your ability of typing without looking. Only a year later, a mechanical version, Das Keyboard II (DK2), was presented. In 2008 Metadot opened up to a broader potential target audience and finally put letters on their keycaps.
